img My Journey of Faith, Love, and Perseverance

The Blessed Beans

I have always loved cafés. There’s something magical about them—the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, the peaceful ambiance, the way people come together over a warm cup. Exploring new cafés used to be my escape, my little joy. But as life got tougher, financial struggles often kept me from indulging in this passion.

So, I shifted my focus. I built a career in skincare, makeup, and apparel, thinking that was the path I needed to take. But even as I worked, my heart ached watching my parents struggle. They worked tirelessly to make ends meet, and in those difficult times, my mother started selling chole-chawal and rajma-chawal on a small table.

But for her, cooking wasn’t just a way to earn money. She cooked with love, and she served with even more love. She didn’t just feed people—she made them feel at home. Watching her, I realized that food wasn’t just about taste. It was about warmth, care, and comfort.

And then, I lost her.

Covid took my mother away, and with her, a part of me disappeared too. I left my job to take care of my father, but deep inside, a thought kept growing—what if I could carry forward my mother’s dream? What if I could create a place where people felt the same love and comfort she used to give through her food?

That’s when I decided—I would open my own café.

But dreams aren’t easy to bring to life. I worked tirelessly to find a space, to gather resources, to plan everything down to the last detail. And yet, nothing seemed to work out. Time and again, I faced setbacks. Some days, I felt hopeful; other days, I wanted to give up.

Then came January 28th—a day I’ll never forget.

That night, I broke down completely. I had everything I needed—resources, ideas, determination—but still, I was stuck. I cried, wondering why I couldn’t move forward despite giving my all. In that moment of despair, I turned to Jesus. I prayed, asking Him for strength, for guidance, for a sign that I was on the right path.

And then, something beautiful happened. My friends surrounded me with love and support. They reminded me that everything happens at the right time and that I needed to have faith. Their words, their belief in me, gave me the strength to hold on.

And just a few days later, on February 1st, I found the perfect place for my café.

The very next day, I started working on it. No more doubts, no more fears—just pure dedication to bringing this dream to life. And today, I stand here, finally living the dream I once thought was impossible.

The Blessed Beans by Geeta & John isn’t just a café. It’s a tribute to my mother’s love, to my father’s strength, and to the faith that carried me through my darkest moments. Here, I don’t just serve food—I share warmth, comfort, and the kind of love my mother always poured into every meal she made.

This journey hasn’t been easy. It’s been full of struggles, heartbreaks, and moments of doubt. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that faith and perseverance can turn any dream into reality.

Now, as I take this step forward, all I ask for is your love and support—because this café isn’t just mine. It belongs to everyone who believes in love, in warmth, and in the power of a shared meal.

This is just the beginning. And I know, with faith and the right people by my side, the best is yet to come.
